From the moment we arrived we were thoroughly spoilt. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. We had required a place to stay due to a family commitment, and the hotel was central to what we needed; yet we have felt that we have experienced a truly restful holiday and plan to return and stay for a longer period next time.

Best hotel in the South West!

The setting of the hotel was stunning, overlooking the beautiful course. The staff were very attentive and helpful. With the heat, fans were provided. Amenities in the room such as hair dryers, tea and coffee and iron and ironing boards on request. The buffet breakfast had a great spread from healthier to larger options. Our lunch order was processed quickly and delicious! All round fantastic stay and I would 100% recommend!

Wonderful

This is the second time we have stayed at this Hotel and we cannot fault it . The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the shower was really hot and powerful with excellent water pressure. ALL of the staff were so kind and helpful , receptionists, pro shop staff and all the lovely young girls in the bar and restaurant. Nothing was ever any trouble and they were all so friendly and welcoming. We played the golf course twice during our stay and found it a joy to play there. It is an ideal base to explore Cornwall and some of the most beautiful coastline and bays are within easy reach of this Hotel.

Fantastic Quality. Brilliant Value.

Staff were super friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was exceptional with modern high quality facilities in the room and the hotel as a whole. We were able to eat in the restaurant and the evening dinner was superb as was the breakfast on the morning off our departure. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue. The surroundings are wonderful and the location is very tranquil. I just wish I’d taken my golf clubs

Celebration of Life Gathering

We needed a good venue for family, friends and colleagues of my late father to meet after his funeral at Glynn Valley Crematorium. We could not have been looked after better by Annie and the staff at Lanhydrock. Nothing was too much trouble to arrange, whether it was changing numbers, arranging for a string quartet to play, or having flowers and photographs put up for people to look at. Everything was done with the minimum of fuss and ready for when we arrived. The food was outstanding. Many people commented on how generous the quantities were, and just the right sort of food for this occasion. It was also convenient to have the bar next door, so that anyone who didn’t want the tea and coffee served as we arrived, was able to organise their own drinks. Of course, the views were outstanding. All in all – I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue for anyone. In our case, following a family funeral, it was exactly what we needed. 110% approval from us all. We will be coming back to try the venue as a restaurant……

“Absolutely amazing”
Came here for the first time with mom and dad for the ECH ball. We had an amazing time and the food was to die for. They also set up a dance floor for us to dance along to the bands music. The staff were so nice they took good care with us, I really recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic in every way. Stayed with 7 friends for a golf week-end, course was in superb condition and the food and service was first class. Will definitely be returning at some future date.

Very enjoyable stay! Beautiful setting overlooking the golf course. Breakfast was very good as was our evening meal. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Appreciated the late check out allowed as I had a conference call. Very quiet, peaceful location.

Great place to stay if exploring the area, even better if you play golf! Ground floor rooms have fantastic views over Golf Course (our 3 rooms were next to each other). Dinner was good value, breakfast had a good choice for everyone, the staff and waitresses were very helpful. Overall a really good place to stay.

Relaxing, friendly staff, great views, peaceful! Food was excellent, generous portions, sometimes too generous. Breakfast was very filling. All staff were very friendly and had time to chat. First time away since Covid started and we felt very safe, everyone wore masks and this was enforced.
