Enjoyable Stay- May 2018

Arrived on a Sunday afternoon to an efficient and polite receptionist who explained everything we needed to know. Our room (21) overlooked the 18th tee and was of a very good standard with a lovely bathroom and French doors opening on to a small seating area outside, We had booked a ‘deal’ which included bubbly and chocolates which was already in our room presented well in an ice bucket. We ate in the bar area that evening and the staff were polite and the food tasty. We used the gym the following morning and it was well equipped and tidy, then it was breakfast of haddock and poached egg for myself (very nice to) and porridge for the boss which I was told was superb. Didn’t play golf but walked part of the course and it looked in good condition and well maintained. All in all a really nice stay for a good price and will return later in the year and hopefully play golf as well as enjoy the hotel
