Our Top Picks to Make Your Easter Egg-stra Special

1. Fill Your Belly

We’ll start with our favourite thing about Easter: the food! It’s the perfect excuse for a long weekend full of chocolate, ice cream and roast dinners. We recommend heading out for a walk to build up an appetite then coming back to ours to delve into our legendary Sunday Carvery!

2. Make it a Golfing Weekend

Better weather means spring is the perfect time do dust off the golf clubs and get back out on the course. Challenge your travelling companions to a round – last one gets the drinks in at the 19th Hole!

3. Do Something Different

For the little ones (or the big kids), there are Easter Egg hunts all over Cornwall, including at Trerice Manor, Cotehele House and Newquay Zoo, as well as an Easter Adventure Quest at Tintagel Castle. If you can get the extra couple of days off of work, the Royal Cornwall Museum are hosting a workshop about nursing during the First World War on the 12th!

4. Pick a Beach

We’ve included this one because not only are we always hoping for sunshine, we’re also lucky enough to have beautiful beaches within 20 minutes of our front door! If you’re a North coast surfy type try Polzeath or Daymer Bay, but if you’re after something more unspoilt, we love Lantic Bay, near Fowey.

5. Cornwall’s Glorious Gardens

April in Cornwall is all about baby lambs, beautiful flowers and cream teas in hidden spots. You don’t have to limit yourself to The Lost Gardens of Heligan either, Lanhydrock National Trust House has stunning gardens and is just minutes away.
