We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club Ladies Section.

We pride ourselves here at Lanhydrock in having a very friendly ladies section, whether you are a complete beginner, an experienced player or just want to play fun golf.

The ladies have a regular tee time slot on a Thursday morning between 9.30am-10.30am. Competitions are organised each week and range from Monthly Medals, Stablefords, Cup competitions, ‘fun’ team competitions and external competitions such as Ping and Daily Mail Foursomes. Weekend 9 and 18-hole competitions are organised to mirror the midweek competitive competitions and are generally held on a Sunday.

There are a number of Major Competitions during the year, including, Club Championship, Summer Singles and Pairs knockouts, Club Mixed alongside County Team competitions.

If you enjoy match play the Ladies Section has a League team currently playing in CLCGA Division 4 and a Friendly team, competing in pairs, in social competitions with other local golf clubs. This is a very good way to play other courses and meet like-minded ladies.

A very popular event in the calendar is the Ladies Away Day arranged annually by the Lady Captain. This is a fun team competition day enjoyed by all abilities.

The Ladies Section is also involved in two Ladies Open days along with a Mixed Open event and a Mixed Knockout competition against other clubs.

Much of the golf played is both friendly and fun but there is also plenty of competitive golf.

Overall, the Ladies Section prides itself on being inclusive to all. It is the aim of the Lady Captain and Vice Captain to encourage new and existing members to participate in and enjoy being part of the Ladies section.
