Alister Tawse – PGA Golf Professional
Lanhydrock’s resident PGA Professional is Alister Tawse.
Alister previously spent 20 years as the Head Professional and Golf Director at West Surrey Golf Club before relocating to Cornwall at the beginning of 2013.
Not only does Alister offer a lifetime of experience and skills in Golf Coaching. He is also a keen swimmer and rugby enthusiast – with a bit of luck he’ll be able to teach you to retrieve your hook from the water hazard with a fine stroke and ensure all your putts are converted!
Alister’s Golf Academy for Novice and Return Golfers
The Lanhydrock Golf Academy has now been established for 3 years offering excellent value for money and a relaxed and friendly way to get into Golf with its benefits of health and it’s social enjoyment.
Commencing this November, the new Academy Course has been developed to provide a structured introduction to the game of golf and is open to everyone over the age of 18 years. The Academy is aimed at both novice and returning golfers with tailored Individual and Group Coaching from our PGA Head Professional Alister Tawse. Included in the Package is five Individual 40 Minute Lessons, fortnightly Group Coaching plus off – Peak Playing Membership. Successful graduation from the Academy provides entry to full playing membership at Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club.
