CONFERENCE & EVENTS – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Prices are those ruling at the time of the written confirmation from. Thereafter, they are subject to annual review on 1st January and any changes will be advised.
A minimum number of guests/delegates attending a conference or event must be agreed upon booking. This number will be considered guaranteed and will be charged as a minimum. A final number must be advised no later than 5 working days prior to the event date. Any increase in numbers will be charged as per our standard tariff.
We reserve the right to move or upgrade (at no additional cost) your booking to one of our other conference suites at our discretion.
Your provisional reservation can be held for 5 working days if required. If written confirmation has not been received by that time, we will assume that you do not require the reservation and the date will be released.
Cancellation Charges
2 weeks notice or less – 100% of total charge (room hire + all catering)
4 weeks notice or less – 50% of total charge (room hire + all catering)
4-6 weeks notice – 50% of room hire
Where credit facilities have not been agreed upon in advance, the account must be settled on departure by credit/debit card.
Where there are account facilities, invoices should be settled within 30 days of receipt. Invoices not settled within our 30 day terms will be subject to the addition of interest at 2.5%.
Liability
The Hotel shall have no responsibility whatsoever for any damage, loss or injury to persons or property unless damage is caused as a direct result of negligence on the part of the Hotel.
The Hotel shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the Client or any such person as may occur except within the constraints of the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956. In the case of loss or damage to the property, it shall be reported to and noted by the Duty Manager at the time of the discovery thereof and reported to the Police within 24 hours.
(a) The Client will be liable for any loss or damage to the Hotel or third party property (including items of equipment hired for use by the Client) and for the loss or injury suffered by any person including Hotel visitors and employees, caused by the negligence, willful act or default of the Client or by any person invited or brought into the Hotel by the Client.
(b) The Client is advised to take out appropriate insurance covering public liability and loss or damage to its property and that of other persons attending its event.
Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club will make every effort to provide the services as specified but if for any reason the Hotel fails to make available the rooms reserved or to provide any of the agreed goods or services it shall not be liable for any resulting loss or damage suffered.
