Lanhydrock Hotel's Sport Relief Challenge!

Lanhydrock Hotel's Sport Relief Challenge!

It is now only four days until we begin our ‘Sports Relief’ challenge here at Lanhydrock.

We are attempting to cycle the 838.5 miles from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, on our brand new Lifecycle GX Group Exercise Bikes, over the weekend of 22nd & 23rd March.

The sign-up sheets in the reception are slowly starting to fill, the donations and sponsorship is coming in at a steady rate.

There is still the opportunity to get involved with this challenge and we would love to have you take part.

With all money raised going straight to ‘Sports Relief’ it is such a worthwhile cause, with even the smallest contribution making a massive difference.

‘Sports Relief’ does exceptional work both here and abroad and that small bit of change to you, means the world to these projects.

For example;

£5 could pay for a young person in the UK with a disability to take part in a sporting activity.

£10 could provide six children living on the streets of Nepal with a hot meal and a safe place to sleep for the night.

£20 could run a workshop with young people in the UK to help prevent cyber bullying.

£50 could pay for a child living in poverty in Peru to attend preschool for an entire year.

So please, if you can, get involved with this massive challenge we have set ourselves.

The first riders will be starting at 06:30 on Saturday morning in hotel reception with the last finishing late on Sunday night, so please over the course of the weekend, come up and show your support for such a great cause.

With collections being made over the weekend and also the opportunity to sponsor those taking part, everyone can be involved in making this an extremely successful fundraiser.

If you would like to get involved then please see Jordan in the Fitness Suite or ask for Regan at Reception.
