PINK!

Whether hot pink or a pastel shade, pink is definitely on trend this year, and not just for bridesmaids! If you’ve dreamed of wearing a pink dress down the aisle, this is your year. In fact, colourful dresses in general are making a breakthrough.

LACE

Featuring in 2014 bridal collections from Oscar de la Renta amongst others, lace is an enduring fabric that looks fabulous as subtle hints and all-out theme alike.

BLUE

Not just ‘something’ blue, there is already demand for blue themed weddings out there and they’re right on cue for Spring 2014 fashions. Navy, periwinkle, royal – the choice is yours!

HAIR

Hair embellishments and statement veils are a great way to compliment an ‘up-do’ and natural look alike. Don’t let the flower girls have all the fun, flower hair garlands are increasingly popular for that country wedding look.

HALTERNECK

Show off a bit of shoulder without losing support – the halterneck wedding dress is a great alternative to the strapless style.

HIM

‘Styled grooms’ is one of the wedding buzz-phrases this year. It’s not all about the bride’s dress, now grooms are joining in the fun and making statements by stepping away from the traditional dark suit or morning dress. Whether it’s a dusty pink linen suit, colourful bow tie or flat cap and braces, it’s more popular than ever for guys to do showcase their individual style. A top tip though, don’t forget to run your choice past the bride ;-)
