“Super Golf Course - Perfect Society Venue” May 14
Have been visiting Lanhydrock Golf Course for past 15 years or so as part of my society's annual tour to the West Country. Played there again yesterday on our way back home (it's only 5 minutes from the A30 at Bodmin) and have to say that I have never seen it in better condition at this time of year. The whole course was well presented and the greens were excellent. If you're planning a golf tour to the West Country, have a look at Lanhydrock.
We always receive a warm welcome and the Golfer's society lunch of ham, Egg & Chips was lovely.
Congratulations to all concerned, Greenstaff, Pro-shop & Club-house. We're already booked in for next year! Many thanks Richard
“Excellent stay” April 14
I recently stayed here with some friends and have nothing but praise for the service, food, room and facilities. Drinks and canapés on the terraces upon arrival; delicious dinner and very comfortable rooms. A huge breakfast the next morning set me up for the day. Wonderful!
“Delicious meal and comfy rooms” April 14
Visit commenced with a friendly greeting at Reception followed by drinks on the sunny patio overlooking picturesque views of the golf course. Dinner was outstanding, reasonably priced and the menu choice varied. The rooms are tastefully decorated, well equipped and most importantly provide comfortable beds. The warm underfloor heating in the tiled bathrooms are a real luxury. I don't normally give gushing reviews but our stay with 10 discerning ladies left everyone very satisfied and we couldn't find any fault with the food, service or rooms - a difficult feat for any establishment but Lanhydrock pulled it off.
The breakfast buffet provided a great range of freshly prepared homemade food. We had a lovely walk in the nearby countryside and returned for coffee in the comfortable lounge. A fantastic and memorable weekend.
